A New Beginning

I realize that it's been quite awhile since I've last updated anything on my blog. And to the dwindling number of fans or lonely stragglers, I hope you accept my sincere apology. The past few months have been a mix of countless new events and happenings.

November was a pretty quiet month. I spent the majority of my time enjoying working part time and having the rest to enjoy with friends. I even took a trip to Williamsburg where I found myself and insignificant other being led on a tour of the town whilst being persuaded to buy a condo. The rest of the month I had a few date nights with Luis, went hiking in Waynesboro, and wrapped up November with a fantastic Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving.

December picked up as friends were graduating & people were celebrating the end of finals and the start of the holidays. I won't write too much about this month because I think the photos said it all. It was an amazing way to end 2018 and start the New Year. I will say, New Year's Eve was one for the books. Monday afternoon, we packed the car and headed to DC to dance the night away at Ultrabar. If you overlook the fact that I spent 20 minutes trying to get into the wrong hotel and everyone crawled back at undecent hours, it was a successful night.

As I dive into the New Year, I realize just how much has changed in the past 365 days. I started a new job, lost a love, gained a few more, strengthened my friendships, built new ones, and most importantly; I started to see unwrap a bit more of myself. It has been quite some time since I've felt like I was truly happy and looking back, Spring was when I took the dive and began living more with less. With 2018 now officially over, I think this year was definitely 365 days filled with growth.

To my 2019 self, I have so many goals I want to accomplish. There is too little time to spend it wishing I am doing something instead of getting out of my comfort zone. I plan to blog more of my year and in time, see what this year has to bring.
